Texas Army National Guard Soldiers who were involuntary mobilized and released from active duty between Jan. 19, 2007 and Aug. 18, 2007, and served longer than a year, MAY be eligible to receive PDMRA payments. –
The Texas National Guard is pleased that the Army recently issued Post Deployment & Mobilization Respite Allowance (PDMRA) guidance and we are working with the Department of the Army and National Guard Bureau to promptly process the payments our Soldiers deserve.
A Texas National Guard PDMRA team has been assembled in order to certify our list of past and present Texas National Guard Soldiers who are owed PDMRA payments.
Our certification process includes verifying current service status and obtaining correct fund transfer information. This certification process for eligible Texas National Guard Soldiers is critical so that payments are both timely and accurate.
Eligible Soldiers still serving in the Texas National Guard will receive payments via electronic funds transfer. Soldiers who have separated from service will need to set up an electronic funds transfer arrangement with the Texas National Guard so they can receive their PDMRA payment.
The Texas National Guard will diligently process PDMRA payments and validate that every Soldier that is owed this benefit is paid correctly.
Attention:The window of opportunity to receive this
benefit/entitlement ends October 01, 2010. All request from the state must meet
this suspense IAW NGB guidance.
